Less water, energy, chemicals and emissions and more reprocessing, reuse, recycling and upcycling – this goal has also become a priority at JOOP! The production of JOOP! Jeans is already predominantly sustainable.
As a result, we are not only proud of the characteristic design of our jeans, but also of the more sustainable manufacturing steps.
From fibre extraction and fabric production through resource-saving processing and the intricate sewing process all the way to the perfect finish, the long list of processing steps involved makes JOOP! Jeans a premium product that guarantees long-lasting wear and a sustainable environmental approach.
When choosing the fabric for JOOP! Jeans, we primarily use cotton from more sustainable cultivation. We procure most of our outer fabrics from carefully selected, highly qualified weaving mills from Italy, Egypt and Turkey.
The finishing process is what gives JOOP! Jeans their unique, authentic look. In this area of production, too, the use of cutting-edge laser machines and innovative ozone technologies from leading European manufacturers helps us to significantly reduce our use of water, energy and chemicals.
Modern finishing processes enable the environmentally friendly creation of JOOP! denim fabrics. This helps us to save significant amounts of water, energy and chemicals. The water used in production is subsequently filtered, prepared and partially returned to the production cycle for reuse.
